At RoamWell, your privacy is not an afterthought — it's a design principle. This page explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
The short version
- We collect the minimum information needed to run this website.
- We do not sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic — not to identify you personally.
- You can request deletion of your data at any time.
Information we collect
1. Information you give us
When you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can respond to you.
2. Automatically collected information
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — pages visited, time on site, general location (country/city), and device type. This data is aggregated and used to improve our content; we don't use it to identify individual visitors.
3. Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. We also use your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to remember your display preference, like dark mode — that stays on your device and is never sent to us. We don't currently use third-party advertising cookies; if that changes (e.g. if we add Google AdSense), we'll update this policy first.

Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services:
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery
- Web3Forms — to process contact form submissions (we do not share your information with anyone else)
- Google Analytics — aggregate, anonymized traffic measurement. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle this data; you can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Each of these has their own privacy policies. We review them regularly to ensure they meet our standards. As the site grows, we may add advertising services — if we do, we'll update this policy first.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we have on you
- Ask us to correct or delete your data
- Object to how your data is being used

Data retention
We keep contact form messages for up to 24 months.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top.
