By using RoamWell, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We've kept this as short and human-readable as we could.

1. Who we are

RoamWell ("we", "us", "our") is a wellness travel publication operating at https://www.theroamwell.com. Contact: theroamwell@gmail.com.

2. Using our content

All articles, images, and design elements on this site are protected by copyright. You may:

• Read our content freely
• Share links to articles on social media
• Quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the original

You may not:

• Republish entire articles on another site
• Use our content to train commercial AI models without written permission
• Use our images, logos, or design elements without permission
• Remove copyright notices from downloaded material

3. Editorial standards

Every article on RoamWell is researched from published sources, official data and current provider pricing. We aim for accuracy but we're human and occasionally we'll get things wrong. If you spot an error, please let us know at theroamwell@gmail.com.

4. Not professional advice

Our content covers travel, fitness, and wellness. It is informational only.

• Fitness content is not a substitute for a personal trainer or physiotherapist.
• Wellness content is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice.
• Travel content reflects information and conditions available when the article was researched and published. Prices, visas, regulations, availability, and safety conditions can change; verify current information with official or relevant provider sources before you travel.

Always consult a qualified professional before making health decisions. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you read here.

5. Buying our digital products

Some of what we publish is sold rather than given away. Those products are digital, and they come in two kinds. Downloadable products give you files and, where a product page says so, access to an online tool. Browser-based tools, such as the Ascent Profile Audit, give you access to the tool and have no downloadable file. They are self-service: no coaching or personal review by a person is included. Nothing is shipped to you.

Our products are delivered digitally as soon as your payment is verified. In some countries, consumer law gives a buyer a short period in which to cancel an online purchase, and may treat digital products differently once delivery has begun, in some cases requiring the buyer's specific agreement to immediate delivery. Before you pay, checkout asks you to confirm that you accept the Refund Policy and these Terms, that you ask for immediate delivery, and that you understand what that may mean for a right to cancel, and we record which versions of our documents and wording you confirmed. Nothing in these terms, and nothing you tick, is intended to take away a right that the law gives you; the Refund Policy explains how we handle this.

Purchases are open for products that are marked as available on their product page. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. You pay inside Razorpay's checkout window, and RoamWell does not receive or store your card, bank or UPI details.

The price that applies is the one shown at checkout at the time you buy. Section 4 above applies to our paid products exactly as it applies to our free articles: they are educational and informational, and they are not a substitute for professional advice.

6. What you may do with what you buy

A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the product. It does not transfer ownership of it. We keep the copyright and every other intellectual property right in the product, including its text, diagrams, worksheets and design.

You may:

• Read it, keep it, and use it for your own purposes
• Print it, including the worksheets, as many times as you need
• Write on it, annotate it, and fill it in
• Keep copies on your own devices and back them up

You may not:

• Redistribute it, share it publicly, or send copies to people who have not bought it
• Resell it, or sell anything derived from it
• Repost it publicly, in whole or in part
• Upload it to file-sharing sites, forums, messaging groups or document libraries
• Use it as material in a paid course, service or product of your own
• Share your access to any included online tool with people who have not bought the product

Printing it for yourself and lending your printed copy to a friend is not what this section is about. Publishing it is.

7. Delivery, access and changes

Access is provided after your payment is successfully verified. Once that verification is complete, the Thank You page gives you access to the product, and what it shows depends on the kind of product. For a downloadable product, the Thank You page shows a download button. For a browser-based tool, such as the Ascent Profile Audit, the Thank You page shows a link to start the tool, and there is no downloadable file.

Purchases linked to a RoamWell account. The Trek-Ready Training System, Back to Fitness and the Multi-Day Hike Preparation System are downloadable products, and the Ascent Profile Audit is a browser-based tool. Where their checkout asks you to sign in, you sign in with your email address and a one-time code that we email you, and the purchase is linked to that account. A purchase made that way gives you lifetime access whenever you sign in to the same account: to the download, or, for the Ascent Profile Audit, to the tool. It does not expire after 30 days, it does not depend on a cookie, and it is not tied to the browser you paid from. Once you are signed in, the Thank You page for that product shows the download button, or, for the Ascent Profile Audit, a link to open the tool. If you sign in later with a different email address, the purchase will not appear on that account.

Lifetime access is linked to your account rather than to a period of time. It is not a promise that the website, or any particular feature of it, will be available forever; see Availability below.

Purchases that use browser access. Any product, including an Ascent Profile Audit purchase, bought through the earlier checkout that did not ask you to sign in works differently. Access is valid for 30 days from purchase, and it is tied to the browser you used to pay. After 30 days a download link stops working, and a browser-based tool locks again. Purchases made through the earlier checkout have not been moved to accounts and do not have lifetime access. For these purchases we do not currently offer a way to move access to another browser or device.

We do not currently offer a download history or an account page, or a way to move a purchase from one account to another.

Where a product includes an online tool, that tool is part of the product. Our interactive calculator is currently open to everyone and is not access-controlled. To be specific, the Load-Ratio Calculator is a free public companion tool, while the Ascent Profile Audit is a separate paid browser-based tool that requires a verified purchase.

We may correct, update or improve a product after you buy it. Where it is practical to do so, we will make the updated version available to people who already bought it. We may also stop selling a product. That does not affect a copy you have already bought.

Once delivered, our digital products are generally not refundable for change of mind or lack of use. This does not affect refunds or cancellations required by applicable law, and the payment provider handling your purchase may operate its own mandatory buyer protections that apply in addition. It also does not apply to a duplicate charge, a file that is corrupted or cannot be accessed, content its product page promised that is missing, or a product that is materially different from its description: we try to put those right first. We investigate unauthorised transactions and payment disputes. The full position, including what to do if a product does not arrive or does not work, is in our Refund Policy.

8. Affiliate links and sponsorships

This site may in the future contain affiliate links. If you buy a product through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products or services that we have researched and consider genuinely worth the money. Any sponsored content will always be clearly labeled.

9. Advertising

This site may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. User submissions

If you send us feedback, story ideas, or corrections, you grant us the right to use that information to improve our content. We won't publish your name or personal information without your permission.

11. Third-party links

Our articles link to other websites for reference. We're not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of external sites.

12. Availability

We aim for the site to be available 24/7 but we can't guarantee it. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance or upgrades. We're not liable for any losses caused by downtime.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoamWell and its team are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
